Anafilaxia, masztocitózis vagy hízósejt-aktiválás diagnózisának megerősítésére.
Ha olyan tünetei vannak, mint például kipirulás, émelygés, torokduzzanat vagy alacsony vérnyomás, amelyek életveszélyes allergiás reakció következményei lehetnek; ha az orvosa azt gyanítja, hogy masztocitózisban vagy hízósejt-aktiválásban szenved.
A kar egyik könyökhajlati vénájából vett vérmintára vagy 24 órás gyűjtött vizeletre.
Anafilaxia esetén a vizsgálat nem igényel különleges előkészületet, de fontos, hogy a tünetek kezdetét követően nagyon hamar sor kerüljön a mintavételre. Ha más betegségek gyanúja kapcsán kerül sor a mintavételre, akkor felszólíthatják Önt, hogy a mintavétel előtt tartózkodjon antihisztamin és más gyógyszerek szedésétől. Ezt meg kell beszélnie orvosával.
